1. What Data Is Stored
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never uploaded to our servers:
- Invoices (amounts, dates, billing codes, descriptions)
- Participant information (names, NDIS numbers)
- Progress notes generated by AI
- Worker profile details (name, ABN, hourly rate)
- PIN hash and salt (for app lock)
Data Stored in the Cloud
If you signed in with Google, the following minimal data is stored in Google Firebase:

No health data, invoice content, participant details, or progress notes are ever stored in the cloud.
2. How to Delete Your Data
1 Delete Local Data (In-App)
To remove all locally stored data from your device:
- Open the CareVoice app
- Tap your profile icon (top-right corner)
- Select "Clear All Data"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
This will permanently erase all invoices, participants, progress notes, and profile data stored on your device. This action cannot be undone.
2 Delete Cloud Account and Data
To delete your cloud account and all associated data stored in Firebase:
- Send an email to jyong756@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: "CareVoice Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your CareVoice account
We will process your request and permanently delete all cloud data associated with your account.
3. What Happens After Deletion
- Local data: Permanently erased from your device immediately upon clearing.
- Cloud account: Your Firebase authentication record and all Firestore profile data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Subscription: If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled as part of the account deletion process. No further charges will be made.
- Voice recordings: Audio is never stored — it is processed in memory and destroyed immediately after generating your invoice. There is nothing to delete.
4. Alternative: Uninstall the App
Uninstalling the CareVoice app from your device will remove all locally stored data. However, if you signed in with Google, your cloud account data will remain unless you also submit a deletion request as described in Step 2 above.
